Buy A Tree. Change A Life. To Open in Schimmels Park

Buy a Tree. Change a Life., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children globally and locally through an annual Christmas tree sale, will once again be stationed at Lee University’s Schimmels Park, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 24.

A portion of profits from the Buy a Tree. Change a Life. (BATCAL) tree sale will go to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Bradley and Polk Counties, a non-profit that works alongside community volunteers to make sure the voices of abused and neglected children are heard in court. Another portion will go to fund scholarships for local students.

  • Santa Claus will be on site from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 24 and from 2-6 p.m. on Nov. 27. Stop by, take a photo with Santa, and grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
  • We will have a Kids Corner set up for children to do crafts.
  • Trees will be sold every day from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., based upon daily sales, excluding Thanksgiving Day. The sale is scheduled to continue until trees sell out.
  • Those who spend more than $50 will have their name entered into a raffle for the chance to win a laptop computer.

In effort to lessen the spread of COVID-19, social distancing will be maintained and masks are encouraged.
